The study evaluated the complications associated with immediate versus conventional treatment when restoring post-extraction implants in the anterior area. Which highlights the importance of offering an effective and efficient treatment for oral health, especially in the anterior area where aesthetics and functionality are priorities. A quasi-experimental design was used with 20 patients divided into two groups: immediate and conventional restoration. The inclusion criteria ensure the homogeneity of the sample, excluding conditions that may interfere with the results. Data collection and statistical analysis techniques are used to compare the results between both groups. The findings reveal significant differences, showing advantages of immediate treatment in terms of less bleeding, faster healing and less need for additional procedures. These results suggest that immediate implants can be an effective alternative to conventional treatment in certain clinical situations. However, the need for an individualized evaluation of each case is emphasized. In conclusion, the study provides valuable information to improve the quality of care in dentistry, highlighting the importance of considering different therapeutic approaches in clinical practice.
